43-year-old man goes missing in Monterey

(KRON) -- Several agencies are searching for a missing man in Monterey on Tuesday, the Monterey Police Department said. One-alarm fire sparks along the Embarcadero near Pier 28 Salvatore Lucido, 43, of Monterey walked away from his home on David Avenue. Lucido suffers from seizures, police said. MPD is collaborating with the Monterey County Sheriff's Office, Pacific Grove Police Department, CalFire, Monterey Community Emergency Response Team and Pebble Beach employees in the search. (KRON) -- Two robbery suspects who attempted a smash-and-grab on a vehicle stopped at a traffic light were arrested following a three-month investigation, the Marin County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday.Marin County deputies responded to the initial incident on April 20 at around 8:30 a.m. They were dispatched to the intersection of Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and La Cuesta Drive in Greenbrae on an armed robbery report. Suspect who stole $2K of merchandise from Cupertino Target arrested The victim, police said, was sitting in their vehicle at the red light when their rear window was shattered. The victim was shocked to see a suspect at the rear window, taking their belongings through the broken window. Reacting quickly, the victim reversed the vehicle into the suspect.The suspect sustained injuries but managed to get into a get-away vehicle and flee. SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- A man who fell into the water near McCovey Cove Tuesday morning was successfully rescued, according to the San Francisco Fire Department. The man was in the water clinging to a pier, according to SFFD.Rescue units were dispatched shortly after 6 a.m. and situation was resolved by 7 a.m. Carjacking reported in area right before car flew off Sanchez Street Stairs in SF The man reportedly looked over the rail and fell into the water, where he remained for about 10 minutes. He was located in the cove near Lefty O'Doul Bridge. Two SFFD units were assisted by the San Francisco Police Department in the resuce.The man, who has not been identified, was evaluated and transported to the hospital for observation. DENVER (KDVR) — One person died in a crash Tuesday morning on Interstate 70 in the high country.It happened around 8:34 a.m. on eastbound I-70 between Silverthorne and Silver Plume, according to Colorado State Patrol. Eastbound I-70 was closed from Exit 203-218.U.S. 6 (Loveland Pass) was also closed.
