Chef Mik German of 328 Grill in the St. Paul Park American Legion is all about community, especially the restaurant community. He loves to support other businesses, especially on social media, and for the second year in a row, he’s hosting a “Back Lot Burger Bash” that will feature four burger-producing food trucks in the back lot of the Legion. The party takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, at the St. Paul Park Legion, at 328 Broadway Ave., St. Paul Park. The following four trucks will serve burgers: Angry Line Cook, Peppers and Fries, Station No. 6 and Garillers. If you haven’t been to 328 Grill yet, its business model of setting up shop in a Legion, where there’s already a working kitchen and built-in audience, is smart, and the upscale, from-scratch bar food is great.Related ArticlesRestaurants, Food and Drink | Eagle Street Grill to close at the end of April after 20 years in business Restaurants, Food and Drink | St. Paul’s Gra...Good news comes on Anthony Edwards, but Timberwolves fall in Toronto as slide continues

There was a lot working against Minnesota on Saturday in Toronto. The Timberwolves were sans Anthony Edwards, who missed his first game of the season after spraining his ankle Friday in Chicago. Timberwolves coach Chris Finch told Wolves radio play-by-play voice Alan Horton that Edwards’ injury is “not as bad as initially feared,” but that doesn’t mean his return is necessarily imminent.“It’s always about how much swelling and how quickly you can recover from that,” Finch said. “But right now, he’s still in a boot, not really able to test it in any meaningful way, but he’s tough. He’ll want to play. That’s how he’s built.”Meanwhile, Karl-Anthony Towns remains out with his calf strain suffered in late November. He tweeted a picture of a lion clawing at a cage Saturday, with the caption “Me waiting to get cleared to play…. let the kid do what he loves.”Meanwhile, many of the Timberwolv...State adapted floor hockey: Burnsville/Farmington/Lakeville finishes the job

MEMPHIS — A rare Warriors’ road win appeared to be within reach Saturday night. Despite playing catch up all night in Memphis, the Warriors had the game’s momentum swing in their favor at periods in the second half. A reverse layup by Stephen Curry made it a two-point game early in the fourth. But the Warriors’ shooting would go cold and the Grizzlies had their way. Memphis went on a 15-3 run to take a 123-109 lead with 5:39 remaining in the fourth. Coach Steve Kerr talked about putting together strong defensive showings for longer stretches. But the Warriors once again failed to do that in their 133-119 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. With the defeat, the Warriors dropped their 11th straight road game and dip back down to .500, where they’ve hovered most of their season. They also fell to sixth in the Western Conference standings. Nothing is easy for this Golden State team, especially on the road.
