Man killed in fiery crash along Highway 1 near San Gregorio A man died Thursday afternoon after the SUV he was driving crashed and caught fire along Highway 1 near Stage Road, just north of San Gregorio.The man was driving north in a GMC Yukon shortly after 2 p.m. when the SUV appeared to come into contact with a pickup, according to Jovita Ojeda, with the California Highway Patrol. The GMC then spun out of control and hit a bicyclist before coming to a stop halfway in an embankment.
